Pros - I received the package on December 21. We opened it on December 25. All seemed fine
Cons - One of the drum pads does not work properly. The Snare drum pad (lower left) is very low volume and the unit can not be used. The Snare drum is the most important.

Pros - Low cost
Portable
Works standalone, with a stereo or amp, or with headphones
Easy to use
Acceptable build quality
Recorder with A-B looping feature
Pressure sensitive (louder if you hit it harder like a real drum)
Cons - Feels a little cheap
Not as responsive as it could be
Recorder looping has some lag making it tricky to use
Other thoughts - For this kind of money it's a good value, but I'd be disappointed if I'd paid MSRP ($349). It's a fun toy that could be used in a jam session, but I would not get this if I was a serious musician. Overall I'm happy so far and my five year old loves it too!
